What is it?
This patient had a skeletal Class III jaw relationship (SNA 82°, SNB 88°, ANB -6°) despite a Class I dental bite, with the lower front teeth naturally reclined to compensate. Without opting for jaw surgery, treatment was carried out as orthodontic camouflage: the upper front teeth were deliberately proclined to improve lip support and resolve crowding, while the lower front teeth were uprighted, with interproximal reduction (IPR) used in both arches for space. The upper incisors were intentionally kept proclined as part of the camouflage strategy, and the patient was happy with the final result.
